Choose the correct currency pair and period
The Base is the currency you are converting from; the Target is the currency you are converting to. The rate tells Spacebase how much target currency equals one unit of base currency. For example, a EUR-to-USD rate of 1.05 converts EUR 1,000 to USD 1,050. Reversing the currencies requires a different rate. Individual rates are dated exchange rates. Monthly average rates provide a rate for a whole month when a calculation uses monthly averages. Check which kind your reporting process calls for before importing; the two lists serve different purposes.Individual rates

Monthly average rates

- Set the available filters and click Filter to review a specific set of rates.
- Click Export Rates to download the filtered results.
- To upload rates, click Import Rates, select your CSV, and click Import. This requires permission to manage company settings.
Importing a rate for an existing currency pair and date, or an existing currency pair and month, replaces that rate. Export the relevant rates before an import if you need a copy of the previous values, and review the results afterward.
