AI Lease Abstraction enhancements
The AI lease abstraction experience has been redesigned to make reviewing and importing extracted data faster and clearer.- Sticky document viewer — The source document stays in view as you scroll through extraction results, so you can check the source without losing your place.
- Version management — View any extraction version without reloading the page, and delete versions you no longer need.
- Clearer “Import all” — Importing all sections now confirms which sections imported successfully and clearly flags any that need to be imported manually.
- More reliable imports — Critical dates now import in the correct order so dependent dates resolve correctly, and AI-imported expense abatement dates carry the right format into the form.
Custom fields for lease files
You can now define your own custom fields for lease files at the company level. Fill in their values directly in the abstract builder and see them inline on the lease files tables. Manage the available fields from company settings.Accounting policy files
You can now upload accounting policy documents and keep them alongside your accounting settings, making it easier to store and reference your policies in one place.Report date filters
- Deposits report — Add optional start and end dates to scope the report to a time window. Each row (payment due, return due, and burndown adjustments) is filtered by its own due date, and the date range is reflected in the file name.
- TI Allowances report — Add the same optional start and end date filters to scope allowance and payment activity to a chosen period.

AI Assistant
- Portfolio seat insights — The assistant can now answer questions about headcount, seat utilization, capacity, and per-seat space across your portfolio, and rank or sort leases by seat data. Available for companies using the headcount module.
Search
- Direct lease navigation — Selecting a lease or accounting lease from the search bar now takes you straight to that record, even when several leases share the same name. Previously, duplicate names dropped you on the search results page instead of the lease you picked.
Abstract builder
- Clear default clauses — The option to clear default lease clauses is now a top-level button, making it easier to find.
Bug fixes
- AI Assistant — Fixed a visual glitch where a stray colored sliver could appear in the navigation bar while the AI Assistant sidebar was open.
- AI Assistant — Fixed an issue where the assistant sidebar could get stuck after a session became stale; it now recovers automatically.
- Deposits Report — The Return amount now reflects burndown adjustments instead of always showing the original deposit amount.
- Lease Modifications & Impairments — Fixed an issue where an earlier impairment on a lease’s additional costs was not carried forward to a later modification, which could overstate the asset balance. Modifications now account for all prior impairments.
- Report Downloads — Fixed an issue where downloading certain reports to Excel could fail when the underlying data contained special characters. Those values are now cleaned automatically so the export completes.
- Uploaded Images — Fixed an issue that could prevent user-uploaded images from displaying.

- Framework Security Patch — Applied a security update to address a recently disclosed vulnerability in the underlying web framework.

AI Assistant Sidebar
The AI Assistant is now available as a slide-out sidebar from any page in the application. Click the “Agent” button in the top navigation bar to open it. The sidebar consolidates the previous dashboard, lease, and support chat experiences into a single assistant that follows you across the product.- Slide-out Panel — Opens on the right side of the screen with a smooth animation. Press ESC or click the backdrop to close. Expands to full-screen on mobile.
- Start Screen Prompts — Suggested prompts on the start screen help you get going quickly.
- Compact Theme — A tighter visual style optimized for the sidebar layout, with improved table scrolling for wider results.
- Unified Access — A single AI access permission now controls availability of all assistant features across the app.
AI Lease Abstraction Enhancements
A range of improvements have been made to the AI lease abstraction workflow, making it easier to extract and import lease data with AI. Critical dates imported from AI extraction are now created in dependency order so references between dates resolve correctly.Finance Lease Residual Value & Depreciation End Date
Two new optional fields are available on finance lease accounting snapshots to support assets whose useful life extends beyond the lease term:- Residual Value — The estimated value of the underlying asset at the end of the lease. When set, it reduces the depreciable basis of the right-of-use asset and is booked as a residual value debit at lease expiration.
- Depreciation End Date — An optional override that lets the right-of-use asset continue depreciating past the lease end date. Present-value and interest calculations still stop at the lease end date, but ROU amortization runs through the depreciation end date.

AI Assistant
- Downloadable Reports — The assistant can now generate and attach CSV reports directly in the chat. Generated files are persisted so you can return to them later.
- Help Article Search — A new tool lets the assistant look up answers in the platform’s help articles when you ask product or how-to questions.
- Document Citations — When the assistant references a source document, it now includes clickable citation links back to the underlying file.
- Improved Reporting — Expanded reporting capabilities for portfolio analysis, including better handling of large result sets.
- Faster Document Search — Document search backing the assistant has been upgraded to use a more efficient index for faster, more relevant results.
Lease File Ingestion
- Dynamic Status Icon — The previous ingestion status box has been replaced with a compact status icon on each lease file row, with a tooltip showing the current ingestion stage.
- Re-trigger Ingestion — Lease files can now be re-submitted for ingestion directly from the file list when reprocessing is needed.

- SSO Login — Fixed issues where SAML single sign-on could fail to redirect users to the correct page after authentication, and corrected handling of SAML attributes.
- Custom Report Downloads — Fixed an issue where custom report downloads could fail due to outdated cookie and session names.
- Accounting Lease Data Export — Fixed an issue where custom journal entry formats were omitted from the accounting lease data export for clients configured with more than one custom format. All custom formats are now included.

Lease Map
- Map Markers — Fixed an issue where Google Maps location markers were not displaying on the lease map.
- Address Geocoding — Lease addresses with missing latitude/longitude coordinates are now automatically geocoded. Existing addresses have been backfilled.
Disclosures Report
- Sublease Income — The Sublease Income line item in the ASC 842 and IFRS 16 disclosures reports is now automatically populated from lessor accounting lease rental income entries.
- Variable Rent — Fixed an edge case where variable rent amounts could be excluded from disclosure calculations for certain reporting periods.
FX Movements
- Lease Renewals — Fixed an edge case in foreign currency movement calculations that could affect lease renewals where the GL start date differs from the lease start date.
Custom Reports
- Journal Entry Exports — Various fixes and improvements to client-specific journal entry export formats.
Preview Environment
A new preview environment is available for testing upcoming features before they reach production.- SSO Authentication — The preview site authenticates via OIDC against the production instance. Use your existing production credentials to log in.
- Streamlined Login — Inapplicable authentication options (Google login, password reset) are hidden on the preview site.
- Production Link — An “Open Production Site” link is available in the account dropdown for quick navigation back to production.
- User Management — User creation and editing is managed through the production site. These options are disabled on preview.

Bug fixes
- Lease Modifications — Same-Day Dates — Fixed a restriction that prevented the GL start date and effective date from being set to the same day as the previous snapshot when creating a lease modification.
- Projected Headcount — Fixed the projected headcount end date for Locations, which was too short. It now extends to 10 years from the current date.
- Accounting Payments Report — Fixed an error that occurred when a lease snapshot included a termination payment. The report now correctly uses the payment date for currency conversions.
- Duplicate Accounting Records — Resolved an issue where accounting expenses were generated incorrectly when a snapshot started multiple days after the previous snapshot’s expiration.
- Partial Termination Accounting — Fixed an issue with straight-line lease expense calculations that caused invalid leases for some partial terminations.
- Prorated Termination Payments — Fixed an issue with the final accounting record for leases with prorated termination payments.
- Custom Report Fixes — Fixed various minor issues in client-specific custom reports.
- Excel Export — Fixed an issue where exporting data to Excel could fail when certain non-text values were included.
- Login Redirects — Fixed an issue where certain characters in redirect URLs could prevent you from being sent to the correct page after logging in.
- Transaction Task Notifications — Fixed an issue where email notifications were not being sent when a task was marked as completed in the Transactions module.
- Transaction Task Updates — Resolved an error that could occur when updating a personal task in the Transactions module.
- Accounting Settings Help Text — Corrected a typo in the accounting settings help text.
