Spacebase includes two AI features that work with your existing data: a conversational AI Assistant that answers questions about your portfolio, and AI Lease Abstraction that extracts lease details from your documents. Both stay scoped to your company’s data.

AI Assistant

Ask about your leases, accounting, critical dates, and expenses in plain language, and get answers, tables, and downloadable reports.

AI Lease Abstraction

Extract lease details from uploaded documents and import them into a lease record, with citations back to the source pages.

Getting access

AI features are opt-in and off by default. Access is controlled in two layers:
  • Company — Your organization must have the Spacebase AI module enabled. Contact your account manager to turn it on.
  • User — Each user needs the Access AI functionality permission. An administrator grants this from User Account & Access Settings.
Once both are in place, the Agent button appears in the top navigation and the AI Abstraction tab appears on each lease.
The AI Assistant is read-only. It can search, analyze, and summarize your data, but it can’t change leases, accounting records, or settings. All results are limited to your company’s data.
