# Settings & General

> Functionality basics, custom configurations, and links to settings, integrations, user access, and security documentation.

## Functionality Basics

* Headers of tables can be sorted alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A).
* Many table rows can be clicked on to view underlying data or change settings.
* Filters can be applied to most tabs, with relevant drop-downs and multi-select options for advanced filtering. Select the **Filter** button to update the page.

### Custom Configurations

Spacebase provides configurable dashboards, lease metrics, journal entries, currency conversion settings, ERP integrations, and more, allowing organizations to tailor the platform to their operational and reporting needs.

By default, dashboard layouts and metrics may vary by property type, based on the information and workflows most commonly considered important for that category of lease portfolio. Companies can use these default configurations to get started quickly or further customize views and functionality as needed.
